RACE VILLAGE: The race village is at Weybridge Vandals Rugby Club here, just near the start point of the route map available here: Pizza Run UK Surrey Route. The address you need is Brownacres, Walton Ln, Walton-on-Thames KT12 1QP and there will be plenty of parking here along with toilets before and after the run. We urge you to arrive with plenty of time and also take care of other activities happening at the club.
TICKET: Be sure to remember your ticket. You can either print it or show it to us on your phone. This is required to gain entry to the run and receive your number, wrist band, medal & pizza. (The barcode is the important part!)
RACE REGISTRATION: On arrival, there will be a race registration tent located in the race village area. Head over with your ticket ready to collect your Pizza Run UK wrist band & race number, which you’ll need to collect your pizza & medal.
THE RUN & PIZZA COLLECTION: The 10K consists of 2 laps of our Weybridge Tow Path and Town route, the 5K is just one lap. You’ll be able to collect your Pizza from our Pizza Station tent in the race village area immediately after completing your run by presenting your wristband. You can also find water available here at the Pizza Station & on route should you need any! At the end of your run you will cross the finish line & receive your Pizza Run UK medal before joining the afterparty with our resident 2019 DJ, Craig 'Cut Up' Jones.
FAMILY RUN: The Family Run has a special route which is simple to see & will be discussed clearly with all participants on the day at the start line. Once you’ve crossed the finish line, grab your Pizza Run UK 2019 medal and head over to our pizza station for a delicious slice of pizza!
PARKING: Free car parking is available at the Race Village, Brownacres, Walton Ln, Walton-on-Thames KT12 1QP. Please pay attention to our car park marshals and DO NOT park on the field area as there will be other activities taking place. Take care when you leave in case other runners are still on the course which will be alongside your exit from the car park.
RACE ROUTE: Head here to take a look at 2019’s route: Surrey Pizza Run Route! There are some important points to be aware of, firstly make yourself as aware of the route as possible, we will have marshals and signs at key points but it is always good to have a rough idea of where you are going! On this route we have tried to include parts of the tow path by the River Thames, a small part of Weybridge Town whilst also keeping you as safe as possible. There are two road crossing points out on route that you will have to be cautious of and pay attention to marshals instructions - the first is down Walton Lane as you cross over the tow path onto the field to run down the opposing river side. The second is in the town streets by St Georges School where you will be able to cross at a small section of the road. Amongst this there will also be side roads to be wary of, we appreciate your caution, it is our way of getting you a more interesting route that allows you to go into the town with all our other runners! The final points to note are that you must stick to pavements at all times apart from the road crossings and that on your way out of Desborough Island and back in, each of the Bridges have a small section of steps you will need to go down carefully.
Hopefully this route gives you a nice mixture of both the river & village whilst being enjoyable for all!
